VICENTE CUÉ

Vicente is a Business Development executive with solid financial and proven international experience driving ROI for both start-up ventures and Fortune 500 companies. He has successfully led Sales, Operations, Finance and IT teams in renewable energy, private equity, investment banking, biotechnology, and media.

He has diversified strategic expertise with multi-national corporations (Monsanto/Bayer and successful start-up experience (Cofounder and CFO at PriceGrabber.com, Xoole, etc.).  At Banamex in Mexico, he led the first US ExIm guaranteed structured trade finance transaction for a Mexican financial institution. He also served as Corporate Banking Vice President of Banamex USA managing a portfolio of Mexican corporate clients.

His experiences include business development, early stage funding, project finance, mergers and acquisitions.

Vicente is driven by the passion for innovation and growth. These, combined with experience in project finance, project management, curiosity for innovation, knowledge of country specific markets, their regulatory landscapes, and an efficient leverage of a network of decision makers have been the ingredients for success.

For Vicente, exploring existing and new cross-border business opportunities to deliver products and services into new markets has resulted in many entertaining stories of success; and failure.

Vicente was born in the U.S. and raised in Mexico, is fluent in Spanish and English, and has an extensive network of senior executive contacts in Mexico and the US.

He has a passion for structuring impact investing solutions for organizations aligned towards generation of measurable and beneficial environmental impact combined with financial returns.

He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and BS in Economics from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
